PKS Camping
The courses are held at the camping MaremmaSansSouci
(2km from dal Camping Village Santapomata)
Imagine going out to navigate the sea every time you feel like it. When you’re at Camping Maremma you can, with sail boats, by windsurfing, wing, sup, canoe, surf or kitesurfing, we’ll take you to PKS beach.
Experience the sea in the most complete and profound way taking advantage of all the ways at your disposal to have fun, regardless of age or experience level.
Thanks to our agreement with PKS, one of the major italian watersports schools, with headquarters in Castiglione della Pescaia, Porto Pollo (Sardegna) and El Médano, Tenerife (Spain), you can learn or practice thanks to the possibility to rent any equipment, every watersport powered by the wind or simply your own arms.
Sailing courses
Sailing courses, on quick vessels or more stable and spacious catamarans, both for adults and children or whole families. Capable of transforming you from swimmer to sailor. A light breeze in the morning for those wanting to face a calm sea, a stronger wind in the afternoon to satisfy excitement and adrenaline seekers.
Learn to windsurf
windsurfing courses, whether you’re a kid of 6 years old or a man or woman of 99 you can start to learn windsurfing: Large and stable boards and the right sails for every level of experience and a lesson plan tested with over 200 courses a year. And if you need to advance and start gliding or doing more advanced jumps and maneuvers or maybe try your hand at foiling, our instructors know how best to guide you to immediately give you the foundations you need. Whether that’s school equipment or boards and sails for advanced courses, or for the renting of planing boards there’s RRD.
Wing lessons, the simplest course to start foiling
Do you want to learn wing, the quickest way to start foiling? Very few lessons, usually a couple is enough, and you’ll already be facing the inebriation from navigating the water hovering above it. Easy, safe and very light from a physical effort standpoint, wing is the sport of the moment for a bunch of good reasons. All the equipment is RRD latest generation.
Paddleboard surf and canoe
paddleboard surf and canoe are excellent ways to have fun in the water without the wind. For surfing you need waves, for canoeing and paddleboarding you need paddles, but renting or taking some lessons if you like, are some cheap and quick ways to enjoy the fantastic waters and coasts that Maremma puts at your disposal.
Kitesurf
And if you want to learn to kitesurf, no problem, we’ll take you to PKS BEACH for free, our establishment in Castiglione where you can follow lessons with calm and safety. It’s just a few minutes away; just 3 km and for our lesson takers we have a shuttle that goes from Camping Maremma to the schools (on the south coast near Castiglione), and takes you back at the end of your lessons. In order to leave you space and possibility to get confident using a kite. At PKS BEACH you’ll also be able to rent the kitesurfing equipment.
*The courses include all equipment: boards, sails, kites, lifesavers, helmets, trapezoids and even mutes(?) and at our school it’s possible to leave windsurfing, wing or paddleboard equipment in storage.
